Resumen:
One of the main objectives of AMIGA is the reconstruction of the muon lateraldistribution function (MLDF). The ADC channels, implemented in the updated versionof the muon detector electronics, allows to measure higher muon densities comparedwith the ones measured using the binary channels. Therefore, it is expected that themore precise methods to reconstruct the muon lateral distribution function include theinformation provided by both acquisition systems. In this note we consider the log-normal distribution to characterize the output of the AMIGA ADC channels for thecase in which several muons hit a given muon detector. We also study the shape of thedistribution function corresponding to the estimator of the number of muons obtainedfrom the integrated signal. In addition, we estimate the values of the mean muon numberthat hit a muon detector, placed at a given distance to the shower axis, from which itis possible to approximate the distribution function of the number of muons estimatorby a Gaussian.
