Resumen:
AMIGA detectors are highly segmented devices and, as such, posses the capability of measuringthe arrival times of individual muons at a depth of 2.3 m. Nevertheless, the lack of information of theexact position of a crossing particle along the scintillator strips (of 2 m or 4 m length depending onthe module area) results in an unavoidable uncertainty in the reconstruction of its arrival time. In thiswork, we analyse the delay in the signal for triggering-particle positions spanning from the closest to thefarthest ends of the scintillators using well controlled laboratory measurements. The resolution of thereconstructed times observed is 12 ns.
