Laboratory tests were carried out to ensure its suitability for AMIGA electronics, by comparing results against an analog measuring system (Oscilloscope).The mean SPE peak, noise and other characteristics can be measured using the AMIGA module exposed to environmental radiation if the average number of photons hitting the PMT is low.The calibration method sets up the operation point ensuring maximum counting efficiency. This method is suited to carry out a variety of tests regarding the performance of each channel, increasing the understanding of the whole system and providing data that is useful in improving the electronics system.
