Synchronisation of the AMIGA muon detector

Since the original goal of AMIGA was measuring the muon lateral distribution, at the beginning there was no need to know the signal time. But then AMIGA also aimed at measuring the muon production depth. To measure this longitudinal development the signals have to be tagged with a GPS timestamp. The lack of a dedicated GPS receiver motivated the synchronisation of AMIGA based on the SD clock. Following I will describe how we synchronised AMIGA against the SD.
