Pierre Auger Observatory

In this note we present the deployment procedure of the pre-UC 10 m^2 AMIGA muon detector (MD). We installed seven MDs in an hexagon of inll stations and its center, in the AMIGA site. These MDs are buried 2.30 m to avoid the contamination of electromagnetic particles (gammas and electrons) that may produce muons over-counting. We also describe the logistics and transportation of the detector modules from the Observatory yard to the site, the burying procedure, and the installation of the access tube, the cabling and the power system.
