Resumen:
In this work we performed a study of the infill array using simulated events from showers generated with AIRES 2.8.4a, on a range of energies from 1017.25 eV to 1018.75 eV and inclinations 0 ≤ θ ≤ 45 . We considered two types of primary (proton and iron) and two hadronic models (QGSJET-II and Sibyll 2.1). To simulate and reconstruct events of the infill array, we modified two modules (EventGeneratorOG and CentralTriggerSimulatorXb) of the Offline version 2.6.4. We studied the behavior of the Ropt , the signal resolution, the geometric resolution and the efficiency of reconstruction. We found that the mean value of the distribution of Ropt is ∼ 500 m, a value close to the distance adopted for standard reconstruction (450 m). As expected, when the primary energy increase, the signal resolution decreases. The parameters that define the geometry of the showers do not show significant systematic deviations.
