Resumen:
Catalysts, consisting of mixtures of alumina and titanium oxides, with high catalyticactivity to ethylene was synthetized for working at relatively low temperatures. Characterizations of thecatalysts and the applications thereof in catalytic dehydration of ethanol is present. The study of theinfluence of significant parameters on the reaction allow inferred that the influence of the synthesismethods of the catalysts is significant in the conversion of ethanol reagent. The ethanol conversionalways increases with temperature, with the ethanol flow diminishment and with decreasing catalystparticle size. Selectivity to ethylene and conversion of ethanol versus time of residence, as well as theinfluence of the dilution of the reagent on the conversion and selectivities are also analyzed
