Resumen:
In this review I argue that Dworkin's "Religion without God" fits harmoniously with the rest of Dworkin's production and should be of interest to anyone concerned with theological reflection. The way in which it fits into the rest of Dworkin?s work and its theological relevance is not, however, obvious. Religion without God fits into Dworkin's broader work both methodologically and substantively. He employs the same interpretive method that he had used in his work on jurisprudence and moral and political philosophy. He expands ideas that were present in Life?s Dominion, and to do so, he finds support in arguments on the fact/value dichotomy introduced in Justice for Hedgehogs. Substantively, from a believer's point of view Religion without God may be viewed as an argument against using the divine for profane purposes. I offer a conception of God without religion from Dworkin's conception of Religion without God.
