Resumen:
A radiocarbon sequence from AEP-1 site, Piedra Museo Locality (Deseado Plateau, Santa Cruz, Argentina) is presented and discussed. Two strata contains the arcaheological sites: the upper one is an aeolian unit containing the middle Holocene Component (7700 - 7400 years BP) and the lower one is a paleosoil composed of five units where the earliest evidence of human occupation has been dated (12,890 up to 9 200 years B.P.). The record of two fragments of fishtail projectile point is presented.
