Resumen:
Dendrochronological studies were performed to find the incidence of the climatic parameters of the Empetrum rubrun heathlands annual growth, as well as their annual rate of growth opposite situations of the invasion of Empetrum rubrum disclimax heathlands. The curves can be used to asses the speed of anthropogenic desertification processes, which cause serious upheavals in the climax vegetation of these cold regions.
