Resumen:
Young children are particularly susceptible to the adverse effects of social vulnerability. Resilient children are those who resist adversity, manage to cope with uncertainty and are able to recover successfully from trauma. Becoming familiar withthe characteristics of natural resilient children allow preventive intervention policies to be designed. Given that resilience interventionsare an integrative process, it is necessary to work in different environments: family, school, and neighborhood. Interventions addressing the resources of social vulnerable children appear to have quite an important role when children are faced with threats. But for the intervention effects on resources are maintained or improved, the intervention needs to be intensive and continued over time. The child´s age when the intervention begins is also an important factor. It is determined that the earlier the intervention begins, the better the obtained results will be.
