Resumen:
Adsorption of interacting particles on bivariate heterogeneous surfaces is studied through Grand Canonical Monte Carlo simulation in the framework of the lattice-gas model. Heterogeneity is introduced in the way of patches of weak and strong adsorbing sites. Patches of size lxl sites are considered to have square geometry and they can be either arranged in a deterministic ordered structure or in a random way. Quantities are identified which scale obeying power laws as a function of the scale length l. An excellent agreement between Monte Carlo and analytical results is obtained. Consequences of this finding are discussed for the characterization of the energetic topography of the surface from adsorption measurements.
