Resumen:
The upper sections of the Cerro Negro Formation (defined by Hathway, 1997) outcrop in the eastern side of Byers Peninsula, the azimuth of the strata is 130º and 35º SW dip. This area is strongly covered by recent periglacial sediments, and the outcrops are isolated among this cover. The base and the top of the sections are not exposed in the area. The new fossil locality were located at S62º38´41" W60º58´12" and S62º38´53" W60º58´06", another sterile sections were described at S62º38´46" W60º58´07" and S62º38´51" W60º58´15". In the described profiles, the lower levels of the sections are characterized by lenses of conglomeratic sandstones to coarse sandstones pale green to grayish,
