AN AMS AND PALEOMAGNETIC STUDY ACROSS THE  ANDES IN TIERRA DEL FUEGO. A reconaissance study on the paleomagnetism and magnetic fabric (AMS) across the Fuegian Andes in Argentina has been carried out. Most igneous units that are intercalated or intrude the late Jurassic to Cretaceous sediments display a tectonic magnetic fabric that vary according with the dominat tectonic regime in each section. Paleomagnetic results were mainly negative, but two sites show evidence of significant counterclockwise rotation.
