ABSTRACT As ¡t doubted the existence of the two SubsPecies proposed by Freiberg an Cavalbo for Caitrian latírosttis hecause of previous presented works, a comparative study of rnorpliological eltaracters was made to vcrjfy the real existence of those subspecies. Due to the variation found in tlic analized eliaracters, ¡t is conciuded tlint these must not he taken in aecount to stabláli differences between tlierri, considering valid orily the species Cairnan latirostrís (Daudin, 1802).
