Resumen:
The Parané River Delta has a high avian diversity end abundance of marnmal apecies like the copybara (Hydrodmwris hydrochacris) and the coypu (Myoautor e~). Studies of diet amociations, habitat oelection and habitat structure, were carried out to relate the landscape heterogenelty to key factora that favour the conservation of these apecies. The main factors affecting their abundonce are particular fo0d i 5 for capybara and size and apatial disposition of freshwater marshes for coypu. Avian diveMty was ~§y reisted to multiple habitat layers, that are reisted in tum with ~tion otrota. In afi como, the landocape´s spatial heterogeneity pleys a very important rote in species abundance. We díscues the combined use of habitat studies at different spatial scales for achieving multiple wildlife con~ation "la.
