This chapter illustrates the experimental studies of bio-active molecules within cluster environments. In the first part, the most widely used experimental techniques, are described. In the second part examples on the nanosolvation effects on the structure, reactivity and lifetimes of bio-active molecules and their chromosphores are given. Finally, it is presented a short description of the most relevant results on the spectroscopy and reactivity of DNA base-pair in the gas phase that exemplifies the effect of the nanoconformation of the cluster on the reactivity of the base-pair and their stability in DNA.
