This proposal conforms a long-term project for the developing of a new spectrochemical methodology based in the Resonant Inelastic X-ray Scattering (RIXS) process. Several applications have been already reported. In this case, a step forward is proposed by combining RIXS with spatially resolved spectroscopy. In this way, 2D images of structural information, oxidation state or simple atomic environment, will be constructed.
