Resumen:
The scarce existing information on the chemicalcomposition of the industrial feldspars in the province of Córdobaand the perspective of being able to find K-feldspars with highalkaline content motivated the systematic investigation of thequality of this mineral in deposits in the province of Córdoba. As aresult of these studies, in a total of 84 sampled deposits, 3deposits have been identified where the content of K2Ois more than 14%, with K2O+ Na2O> 16% and K2O/Na2O> 7,15%; 19 deposits with K2O> 13%, with K2O+ Na2O> 15,5% and K2O/Na2O> 4,65%, and 21 deposits with K2O> 12,5%, with K2O+ Na2O> 15,5% and K2O/Na2O> 4,07%. Other feldspars with greater content of Na2Oand also good industrial quality gave results with K2O+ Na2O> 12,5% and K2O/Na2O< 1,2%.
