E-mail: fparborell@gmail.comLow Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is the application of light to promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation or induce analgesia. This work proposes a photobiomodulation strategy to improve female fertility by local application of LLLT. The objectives were: a) To evaluate the in vivo effect of LLLT in adult mouse ovaries on follicular dynamics, angiogenesis, and on fertilization rates and embryo development and b) To analyze the in vitro effect of LBI in a rat granulosa cells (GCs) on cell proliferation (KI67) and expression of VEGF. For objective a, 8-week-old F1 mice (BalbC x C57/BL6) were used and LLLT (4, 8 and 16 J) was applied. For objective b, a culture of GCs (Sprague-Dawley, 21-23 days) was performed and LLLT (2-8 J) was applied. The results showed that in adult mice the LLLT (4 and 8 J) increased % of primary and preantral follicles (p
