Resumen:
This work deals with the results of investigations concerning the structure and transport characteristics of polysulfone membranes made from different polymer solution concentrations. Asymmetric membranes wereprepared by the wet phase inversion process. The integrally-skinned structure of each membrane was characterized using scanning electronic microscopy; the permeability was evaluated by measurements of water flux and ultrafiltration test with polydisperse polymer solutes. It was found that, there is a linear correlation between the water flux and polymer concentration. The results showed that the polymer concentration solution have a great effect on the molecular weight cut-off and membrane structure.
