Analysis of the causes that gave origin to a fire that took place Sept. 8, 2010, in the oil field offshore platform AM2, operated by ENAP SIPETROL ARGENTINA S.A. in the Magellan Strait. This analysis was carried out at the request of PPD S.A. to address the root causes of the fire, which was first detected in the dwelling section; one floor above the control room; which is above the generators room.
