Resumen:
We present the application of three geophysicalmethodsground-penetrating radar, resistivityandelectromagnetic inductionto the Floridablanca archaeological site at San Julia¤ n Bay, Argentina.The objective of the prospection was to detect buried archaeological structuresmostly adobewallstodelimit thesestructures, tofindtheircharacteristicsandtostudythepresenceoftilesattributableto roof collapsewithin the zone of interest.Profileswere carried out in this zone and outside it tocompare results. A periodic distribution of low-contrast shallow anomalieswas found that indicatedthe presence of different types of buriedwallswithin the zone.Also the absence of tile accumulationscould be determined.These results provided the archaeologists with useful information to design amore efficient excavationplan
