Resumen:
Hyperuniformity, i.e. the suppression of longwavelength density fluctuations, is trivially present in crystals and quasi-crystals, but it can also exist in certain amorphous systems. In the latter case, the concept of disordered hyperuniformity has been recently developed and shown to describe unusual and interesting physical properties [1]. Motivated by recent theoretical predictions suggesting that disordered hyperuniformity can arise in vortex lattices in presence of disorder [2], we experimenally study vortex matter nucleated in pristine and irradiated samples of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+ by magnetic decorations. From the digitized vortex positions we analyze the long-wavelength density uctuations, both in real and Fourier space. Our preliminary results suggest that the analized amorphous vortex structures, corresponding to the irradiated samples, are not hyperuniform, at variance with the pristine sample.[1] S.
