Resumen:
Thermoplastic films based on mix of native cassavastarch (TPS) and amylopectin rich starch (AP) with, initially, nano and microsize distribution (TPS:AP = 100:0 (TPS), 75:25 (TPS-AP25) , 50:50 (TPS-AP50)and 0:100 (TPSAP-100)) were developed by casting. XRD revealed higher crystallinity in films with AP. Increments in Young´smodulus in TPS-AP25 and TPS-A50 indicated reinforcement effectof the amount of AP with nanometer size. TPS-AP100 showed same modulus that TPSdue to the higher amylopectin content by AP.
