Resumen:
AbstractUnderstanding the timing requirements for evacuation of people has focused primarily on individualpedestrians rather than pedestrians emotionally connected. However, the main statistical effectsobserved in crowds, the so-called ?faster is slower?, ?smartness is not always better? and ?low visibilityimprovement?, can not explain the overall behavior of a crowd during an evacuation processwhen couples related by feelings are present. Our research addresses this issue and examines indetail the statistical behavior of a mixture of individuals and couples during a (panic) escaping process. In particular, we analyzed the role that the feelings intensity play in time delays during theevacuation of a room.
