Resumen:
A single discrete level interacting with a continuum is used to investigate length and velocity gaugeimplementations of a model accounting for the coupling between the discrete and the continuum model. The continuum-continuum coupling is not considered. We implement the model in a 1D delta function potential subject to a laser eld. Time dependent survival probabilities are compared with exact calculations. We observe that the velocity gauge model remains closer to the exact results even for strong laser field amplitudes.
