Progressive slumping as suggested from la Peña Canyon outcrops

The conclusion is that many MTDs at La Peña Canyon were emplaced in a significan lapso fo time isntead of being formed by a deformational event. Camparing these features with others observbed from 3D Seismic cubes we arrived to the Progressive Slumping Model that explains many of the features as: 1. Internal inclined packages(not need to be imbricates) 2. Lateral transitions to undeformed and correlative beds 3. It helps understanding internal distribution of sand/mud 4. Explain poliphasic deformation, spatially variable (upper, marginal sectors will record less def. phases)
