A political and critical readingFabiana Parra(IdIHCS/ CONICET- UNLP)En este trabajo intentaremos mostrar que la politicidad del género se manifesta no sólo en las tensiones suscitadas en el ámbito académico; sino también en operaciones discursivas en la esfera pública que colocan al término en el centro de batallas directamente políticas por la conquista y el respeto de derechos. En este sentido, analizaremos desde una lectura sintomática el núcleo político que la noción de género exhibe en los debates locales y regionales. Para ello, realizaremos un seguimiento del proceso ideológico- discursivo contra ?la ideología de género? por parte de un movimiento conservador que, en la región (centralmente en Brasil y en Argentina), ha reaccionado frente a avances en materia de derechos de género (ley de educación sexual integral, ley de identidad de género, ley de matrimonio igualitario, ley de interrupción voluntaria del embarazo, entre otras). En este sentido, indagaremos: ¿qué es la ?ideología de género?? ¿qué hay detrás del rechazo tan rotundo hacia ésta? Explorar los supuestos, alcances y derivas de este posicionamiento, es el objetivo de este trabajo.The main goal of this work is to show that the gender politicity manifest not only in the tensions raised in the academic field, but also in the discursive operations of the public sphere which locate the term in the centre of plain political battles for the conquest and respect of rights. Following this, we will analyze from a symptomatic reading, the political core that the notion of gender exhibits in the local and regional debates. For it, we will track the ideological-discursive process against "the gender ideology" carried by the conservative movement which, in the region (centrally in Brazil and Argentina), has reacted to the advances in matters of gender rights (integral sexual education law, gender identity law, equal marriage law, voluntary interruption of pregnancy, among other laws). Following this, we will inquire: what is "gender ideology"? and what is behind the resounding rejection of this?
