Calentamiento de arcos coronales en una región activa por reconfiguración topológica del campo magnético

Resumen:
We study the active region (AR) 8048 observed on June 1997 in several wavelenghts. The combined observations obtained using CDS (SOHO) and SXT (Yohkoh) show the heating of the coronal magnetic loops at different atmospheric altitudes. Extrapolating the magnetic field in the corona from longitudinal magnetograms from MDI (SOHO), we determine the location of Bald Patches in the surroundings of the leading spot. This magnetic feature, the emergence of parasitic magnetic polarities and the observed photospheric motions provide the conditions to explain the observed heating.
