Solar source regions of strong interplanetary events

We analyze three solar active phenomena associated with filament eruptions (some of which were trans-equatorial loops) and their interplanetary counterparts.  We determine their associations through the comparison of certain qualitative characteristcs and, finally, confirm the link by computing MHD invariants at the solar atmosphere and the interplanetary medium.
