Resumen:
The coordinated efforts led by the Whole Heliosphere Interval (WHI) concentrate on the comprehensive understanding of the interconnected heliophysical system during Carrington Rotation 2068. In the frame of WHI, this study aims to characterize all the coronal mass ejections (CMEs) which originated during that time interval, as well as their source regions and ensuing interplanetary structures, towards a global scale description of their role in determining the heliosphere?s conditions. Current space missions providing data to the WHI campaign such as STEREO and SOHO will allow the study of 3D properties of the CMEs thanks to their distinct vantage points. Multiwavelength images captured by these missions and from ground-based observatories will help characterize their candidate source regions. The possibility of associated interplanetary CMEs and magnetic clouds will be assessed by means of data registered by the ACE spacecraft. Furthermore, the results are intended to be compared with those arising from the Whole Sun Month campaign, transpiring one solar cycle ago.
