Editorial Note The 7th Latin-American Conference on Space Geophysics (COLAGE in its Spanish or Portuguese acronym) was held at Atibaia, in the state of Sa?o Paulo, Brazil, between March 29 and April 2, 2004. The venue for the conference, a resort hotel, far from the madding crowd, was conducive to close interaction between the participants, leading to a very fruitful meeting.
