Resumen:
In this work we study the problems arising in the practicalimplementation of a static sensor feedback method for thestabilization of an Euler-Bernoulli beam. We particularly analyzethe effects of a servomechanism and strain gauge observer over thespectrum of the closed-loop operator. We show that such practicalimplementation destroys the exponential stability of the system
