Access, use and quality of water: water economy and policy in rural populations with arsenic problems in Santiago del Estero

A diagnosis about access, uses and quality of water with arsenic problems in the rural periphery of Clodomira (Dept. of Banda ? Santiago del Estero Province, Argentina), followed by an intervention in the zone, is performed by a transdisciplinary group involving chemical and social scientists. The implementation of technologies to provide safe water to selected populations not connected to water networks is foreseen. Further replicates of this project can be performed in other similar regions.
