ABSTRACTResistive switching at a silver manganite interface is studied by means of dynamic and remnant response to bipolar electric pulses. A pulsing loop protocol is used to study the state of pulsed interfaces. Above the threshold for switching, the complementary behaviour at pulsed electrodes is found. By performing minor loops, the threshold pulsing amplitude for switching is affected. We discuss the transport mechanism in terms of vacancy detrapping.We suggest that the redistribution of oxygen vacancies near pulsed electrodes can controllably enhance the local electric field and the non-volatile resistance state.
