Resumen:
The presence of histamine (Hi) receptors has been demonstratedin different cell lines and human neoplasias and manystudies have suggested that Hi can regulate cell growth via H1and H2 receptors . We have demonstrated in an experimentalmammary carcinoma that Hi is produced by tumorcells and exerts its action as an autocrine growth factorthrough H1 and H2 membrane receptors  In this work weinvestigated the metabolic signalling pathways coupled to H1and H2 histamine receptors in the human cell line, Panc-I andthe possible role of histamine in the regulation of cell growth.
