Abstract The chemical profile of propolis samples from the same colonies of Apis mellifera in San Juan (Cuyo region, Western Argentine) were compared every month during one year using two collection methods. In a previous work a significant positive correlation was found between the antioxidant capacity and flavonoid content of each analyzed extract. All samples showed a similar profile similar. Galangin was identified as bioactive flavonoid  in all samples.
