Resumen:
The hypothesis of this presentation sustains that the relationship between Lea Lublin and Marcel Duchamp is not about a direct, derivative affiliation, an 'influence', but about shared interests. Both questioned the limits of the body, the norms of sexuality. And they 'met', finally, in Buenos Aires. From the lost bottle of Duchamp, Lea Lublin gave a new meaning to the questions about sexuality that Duchamp had installed with some of his works. That question condensed those that she had posed in many of her works since the sixties. She and Duchamp had lived in the same city, and from it, the artist speculated, words and images had emerged that questioned the limits of the body and the sexuality embodied in the artist's photo.Between the porteño machismo and the Duchampian alter ego I want to inscribe the successive interventions in which Lea Lublin questions the feminine condition, the social inscription of genders.
