Resumen:
We present the first results of a statistical study of density profilesand color distributions of satellite galaxies in the second release ofthe SDSS. We used a background subtraction method to account for thestatistical properties of an ensamble of galaxies asociated with thehalos of bright galaxies, selected from the spectroscopic catalogue. The results obtained in the photometric sample were compared with thatof the original spectroscopic sample.
