The contribution to the collapsed three-point correlation function of the Cosmic Microwave Background coming from the non-linear evolution (Rees-Sciama effect) of Gaussian initial perturbations, and the associated rms expected value coming from the cosmic variance, are computed.  In the case of COBE DMR, we find that the predicted signal is about three orders of magnitude below that expected from the cosmic variance.
