Resumen:
A large body of knowledge, suggest that roots exudates can act as messengers that
communicate and initiate biological interactions between roots and soil microorganisms. Also,
fungi and bacteria can interact synergistically or antagonistically through an important range of
mechanisms where chemical messengers are implicated. These interactions between fungi
and bacteria, underlying mechanisms behind these associations are in general not well
understood. Three experiments are presented in order to improve the understanding of
functional mechanisms behind such microbial-plant interactions.
