Hidratos de carbono en especies de Cyttaria. Su importancia

Resumen:
Cyttaria species have a high content of carbohydrates. Approximately 50% of total sugar has been determinated in Cyttaria hariotti. Sucrose and its products of hidrolysis, glucos (2,7%) and fructose (3%) were found in significant amounts. We have undertaken the study of structure of polysaccharides isolated from different species of Cyttaria, taking into account that these components have been proposed as in fungal taxonomy. Our work has been mainly performed on C. harioti and C. johowii two species with fruit bodies of different characteristics and on C. darwinii, related to the first one.
