Resumen:
In the talk I will make a brief introduction explaining why whooping cough continues to be a public health problem in the world and how mathematical modeling can help to assess the impact of control vaccination strategies. I will comment on the main contributions made by our group to evaluate the impact of vaccination strategies implemented against the disease in Argentina, and also to evaluate the impact of other control measures that we have suggested and could improve the situation [1-3].
