Resumen:
Adenoviruses are increasing recognised as viral pathogens that can cause fatal infections in immunocompromised patients, particulary recipients of haematopoletic stem-cell grafts. Adenovirus infection are not easily diagnosed and the development of a severe infection cannot be predicted by standard culture techniques.
