Resumen:
Synthesis of (3´R)-2-acetamido-4-N-acetyl-3´-spiro-[1´,2´:5´,6´-di-O-isopropylidene-alfa-D-glucofuranosil]-1,3,4-thiadiazoline diastereomerically pure is described. We report the physical and spectroscopic characterization of the new heterocyclic compound as well as its inmediate precursors. We discuss also the posibilities for cyclization and established the stereochemistry of the new stereeogenic center.
