Resumen:
Considerable research has been focused on the development of low-cost catalysts with highactivity and high resistance to coke formation for methane reforming reactions. Among nobelmetals, ruthenium is an interesting alternative. In addition, lantana helps to clean the catalystsurface by reacting with the carbon formed during the reaction. In this work, we investigatedhigh surface area lanthanum oxycarbonates as supports for Ru catalysts.
