Resumen:
Title: Robert Lehmann-Nitsche: a two-way research in humanities   I present an experience of successful two-way exchange between North and South. Robert Lehmann-Nitsche, a German physician and anthropologist, went to Argentina at the beginning of the XXth Century as part of the scientific effort/ programme of the University of La Plata. Along 30 years he collected thousands of documents representative of the local and popular culture of his time which were brought back to Germany when he retired. 70 years later the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation gave me, an argentine scholar, a Georg Forster fellowship to study and classify those archives and bring them to the public academic light. In the heart of the research I was able not only to find historic links between Germany and Argentina, but also to think about future relationships,
