Resumen:
This essays deals with the role of clerigy in migration processes: how migrants are assisted during their settlement in the destination country, what kind of help is provided and what social networks are created. To hightlight suchs aspects, the leading role of priest who migrated in Argentina from Friuli Venezia Giuglia soon after World War II in examined. Data sources are the archive of the textile industry of Algodonera Flandria and the local newspapers. Further information has been gathered throught interviews with Italian immigrants and their descendants.
