Resumen:
This Letter suggests that the intimal thickening in surgically repaired congenital heartdiseases patient could be a consequence of a decrease in ERα expression in the intimallayer. For this reason, a reduction and increased immunohistochemical expression forERα and ApoB respectively, might represent a risk factor for the development of preatheroscleroticlesions in coronary arteries.
